Our collections include high quality pottery with a diverse selection of designs and finishes from highly styled unique containers to basic good sense pottery. Uneven glazing and variations in color and texture in our ceramic pots are part of their inherent beauty. These variations have absolutely no influence on the strength and durability of any flower pot or container. In many cases, these variations enhance the appearance. Vietnamese pottery is rustic by nature but renowned for their reddish brown stoneware making them very durable and cohesive in our Utah climate. While many containers are frost resistant, clay pots and containers could be damaged by freezing temperatures. Precautions should be taken to protect containers when temperatures approach freezing. When using metal planters, treat the exterior with car wax or oil to protect the surface and prolong the lifespan. When planting, it is recommended not to fill the larger containers completely with soil. Partly fill with light weight filler such as packing pearls or lava rock. This helps keep soil in and allows air and water to flow through pots.
