Bromeliads are a great way to add a touch of the tropics to your home along with a splash of long lasting color.
Contrary to what you might think, these exotic plants are actually easy to care for.
Light: Bright- Medium, indirect light. No direct sunlight, this will cause the leaves to burn.
Watering: While some might recommend watering the base leaves as they are meant to hold water, we have found that if you don’t dump excess water weekly this can lead to stinky water and potentially diseases. We recommend just watering the soil and allowing it to dry out some before watering again to prevent root rot.
Bromeliads come in a wide variety of colors and species, below are just a few of them.
