Crown of Thorns
As its name suggests, this plant has many thorns all along it’s stem and branches. However, amongst these thorns are beautiful flowers that re bloom multiple times a year making this thorny plants worth keeping, much like a rose. These plants also require minimal care and attention making them great house plants.
Light: Bright direct sunlight for at least three to four hours.
Water: Water only when soil is dry to prevent root rot.
Soil: Cactus soil mixes, or soils with great drainage.
Warning: Keep out of reach of children, these plants are thorny and are poisonous if eaten, their sap can also cause skin irritation.
There are a few different varieties of these plants, the main difference between them being flower color and size.
